Common questions people ask

Why is the time difference sometimes two hours, sometimes three?

Hawaii never changes its clocks, but Pacific Time does. During daylight saving (roughly March to November), Pacific Time is one hour ahead of its usual offset, which increases the gap to three hours.

What happens if I don’t enter a date or time?

If either field is blank, the calculator won’t run. You’ll just see placeholders in the result area until you provide both a date and a time.

Can I use keyboard shortcuts?
