Rajab is the month of the Miraculous Night Journey (Al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj). Traditionally, scholars say: 'Rajab is the month for planting the seeds, Sha'ban is for watering them, and Ramadan is for harvesting.'
Rajab is 'Shahr Allah' (The Month of Allah), specifically focused on Divine Forgiveness. It is a time for 'Tawbah' (Repentance). We plant the seeds of worship now so they can bloom into full God-consciousness later.
